Injuries in Gym Class Increase for Children

A recent study that was released found that the number of injuries in gym class in schools across the nation has increased nearly 150% from 1997 to 2007.  This increase has many factors with it causing this significant rise.

One of the main beliefs for the increase is the number of children in class.  Class sizes are at an all time high for many schools. This leads to a lack of proper adult supervision.  Also,  it is believed that many of the teachers are not properly certified to supervise children in an athletic situation or environment. Many other factors are believed to add to the increase in injuries.

Child injuries are very serious and can leave a parent feeling helpless.  If your child has been injured in an accident,  please contact the child injury attorney Jeffrey Killino at 877-875-2927 to learn how he can help.
