Salmonella Outbreak Leads to Higher Food Standards

Recently,  peanuts were tied to a large salmonella outbreak in the nation.  Over 600 people were sickened, and at least 9 people died as a result of the contamination.

Many children were sickened as a result of these products being unsafe.  The bright side of this salmonella outbreak, is that it has led to improved standards in the food industry.  Many companies are taking a more aggressive approach to food safety.  Also,  the government has increased regulation and other standards in the hopes that this type of occurrence does not happen again.

Child injuries are very serious and can leave a parent feeling helpless.  If your child has been injured in an accident,  please contact the child injury attorney Jeffrey Killino at 877-875-2927 to learn how he can help.
